The offense is very fun
and exciting for players, parents, fans, and coaches. It is extremely fast-paced
and your players must be in great shape. We go no huddle
the entire game, whether we are winning or losing, we never
change that aspect of our offense. Last I checked, teams that
huddle do the same thing. The Offense has set numerous state and national offensive records.
This offense is the first offense ever in the history of High School Football to average over 70 plays per game for a season
in 2008!
I have been evolving this
offense, which is a hybrid of a lot of other offenses with
my own spin for over 10 years now. I continue to add
on and learn to this day, as we all should. Our
players are the best conditioned players on the field on
Friday night. We have to be, or we would be in for a
long night! We take a lot of pride in saying that we
are the fastest No Huddle team around and we do the most
out of it. Most No Huddle teams are going from spread or
another formation. I do it every game with up to 4 completely
different formations. We average a snap within 8-10 seconds of
the ball being blown into play.
The system may sound complex, but it actually is pretty easy.
I've coached kids who were special ed., learning disabilities, low-level
thinking, and they have all learned this system and have flourished
with it. You either learn it or you don't play, as simple
as that. The kids love it and they take a
lot of pride in knowing that they are the only ones around
doing it. They love the secret codes, language, signals, and
wristbands.
I have never had
more than 25 kids on my teams except in all-star games,
and most of my players play both ways including special teams.
Yes, even my quarterback. So for those naysayers who say you
have to have players going only 1 way to run this
offense, YOU ARE WRONG!! You just have to put
your kids into a great conditioning program and make 'em believe
in your system. Everything else takes care of itself!! Best of
luck and feel free to contact me with any questions!!
